    The intestinal tract is the largest organ in the body, giving rise to a large surface area for the absorption of and digestion of nutrients. An undernourished or unstable intestinal tract leads to poor digestion, depressed defense systems, which leads to reduction in nutrient absorption.

    A dull hair coat is not normal, Fido-Vite products nutritionally support a normal shiny hair coat. High levels of DHA Omega-3 support a normal haircoat.

    We know that dogs have increased nutrient needs when they are challenged by sickness, injury, stress, or whelping, Fido-Vite allows your dog to get the extra nutrients required.

  • Weight Control

    It is estimated that 30-40% of dogs in the United States are over-weight. Restricting dog food will work for losing weight, but other important nutrients like trace minerals and vitamins needed by the dog will be restricted as well. Fido-Vite restores essential nutrients that diet restriction takes out.

  • Probiotics & Enzymes

    It is very difficult for probiotics and digestive enzymes to be delivered in regular dog food because it is destroyed by the processing. Even vitamins need to be over-formulated to assure enough survive the process. A normal healthy dog has a healthy microbiome. The microbiome is the healthy flora (probiotics) in the intestinal tract. When a dog has a sudden change in diet, sudden change in water, is under stress or is on antibiotics, the microbiome can become disrupted, potentially leading to health problems. Feeding Instructions

Powder form.

SportzDog Feeding Directions:

  • For dogs up to 20 lbs – 1/2 oz daily
  • For dogs up to 40 lbs – 1 oz daily
  • For dogs up to 80 lbs – 2 oz daily
  • For dogs over 80 lbs – 3 oz daily

Start slowly (season lightly) – Each day increasing the feeding rate until desired level is reached.

You may double the feeding rate for dogs under stress and reproduction.

Adding a small amount of water may enhance acceptability.

One ounce scoop enclosed.

Store in a cool, dry location.  Product can be refrigerated or frozen.

    I was gifted a bucket of SportzDog when I adopted Wilson. He had multiple skin issues as well as flea bite dermatitis. When I brought him home, he was on antibiotics, a steroid and a medicated shampoo. Within 6 weeks of putting him on Fido-Vite his skin and hair quality were improving and the issues resolving, and he no longer needed the shampoo nor the medications. In 8 weeks his coat was filling in nicely. 6 months and all signs of trauma were gone. 16 months later and you would not know that he ever had any skin issues. I recommend this product for any one with dogs, skin issues or not.

    This is an amazing product that we are using on our 9 year old Lab as well as our 8 month old Pudel Pointer. Both dogs coat’s looks extremely good without dry skin or itching. There was also a very noticeable difference in our Lab’s shedding which has been reduced. A big plus having house pets. I starting using this when I became a first time dog owner for the microbiome/gut benefits and healthy coats and there was an immediate, visible change with my golden retriever. His overall intestinal health seemed to improve in a short time and his coat became silkier and thicker. Our second golden had horrible flaky skin and a coarse coat from the time we got her and after a short time on fito-vite the flakes decreased dramatically as well as a much softer coat.

    My two 17 month old chocolate field trial bred labs have been on Fido-Vite Sportzdog from the day they came to me as puppies. A well known dog trainer mentioned this product on his training videos and I have been thrilled with this supplement added to their regular dog food. These “brown coated” field dogs are usually dull in coat color, except for these two labs. Their coats are super shinny and as each new coat recycles, the shine and glossy smooth coat just maintains its healthy glow. Even my vet assistant, who also has a chocolate lab, marvels at how healthy both dogs coats look as compared to his lab. The probiotics in this product appears to be activated with water. I always refrigerate all the Sportzdog powder in my refrigerator and dispense only what is needed for the daily feeding to insure it’s freshness. Since I spread the powder on my dry dog food and add enough water to make a gravy, which my dogs seem to quickly consume. At this writing I am reordering another pail. It is usually shipped quickly and put into my cooler when it arrives. I can only support the use of this product and recommend this supplement to those who appreciate a healthy looking, hard working dog with a shinny coat, bright eyes, good stool quality, healthy teeth, especially if they are Labs!
