Fido-Vite as a Complement to Raw Feeding
Fido-Vite as a supplement was first designed as a supplement or topper for kibble dog food to mimic the benefits of raw feeding, many raw feeders have found that Fido-Vite supplements are a great complement to their raw feeding regimen! Here are some of the reasons why!
Prebiotic Fiber
All Fido-Vite supplements contain at least 4 different prebiotics. Prebiotics work in different ways to promote beneficial probiotics obtained through raw feeding. Fido-Vite supplements also have ingredients that are not prebiotics but also help promote a healthy microbiome at the same time reducing pathogenic organisms like clostridia.
Highly Available Zinc
Although meat is a good source of Zinc, Fido-Vite has the highest quality Zinc available. There are many things that can tie-up lower quality Zinc, like calcium, making utilization more difficult. Zinc is involved in over 300 hundred processes in the body and why quality Zinc is so important.
Highly Available Manganese
When it comes to joints, Manganese is probably more important than glucosamine and chondroitin. Manganese helps with Chondroitin sulfate synthesis, which is important for the formation, maintenance and repair of joint cartilage. Meat and organ meat are not particularly good sources of Manganese. Fido-Vite supplements contain the highest quality Manganese.
