Is Fido-Vite okay to feed to puppies?

Absolutely! In fact, we recommend that the first dry food the litter of puppies get has Fido-Vite SportzDog on it. One reason is that a probiotic/prebiotic combination added to a diet change will limit the negative effects of that diet change. There is no diet change bigger than going from mother’s milk to dry food! We recommend feeding Fido-Vite SportzDog for up to at least a year of age to positively influence the development of that puppy and reduce veterinary costs over the life of that dog.

Can we influence that puppy’s health with Fido-Vite before we start the weaning process?

The answer is a definitive “Yes!” This is where we start to get into what we call generation nutrition. We know that if we have the bitch on Fido-Vite SportzDog throughout the gestation period, we will have healthier more even puppies and the whelping process will be faster and the puppies with suckle more aggressively.
